Open since December 2013, this new three-story building located right downtown has allowed Spirit Rock to customize our space to bring you a fantastic variety of terrain – including a kid’s area, bouldering wall, beginner routes and long overhanging technical climbs. We have walls for everyone, from 8 feet high for youngsters to a wild overhanging section 50 feet high for experts. Climbing is a life-long sport, helping develop and maintain full body fitness and mental focus, and we are happy to provide a constantly changing selection of routes for our climbers.
Spirit Rock started by playing a role in modernizing Kimberley’s Platzl, and we continue to work closely with the community and other businesses in this amazing and vibrant city. We have a selection of regular community programs, work with the local schools, and offer prizes at many community events. We are family focused, with a focus on creating a great, accessible environment for youth. Spirit Rock is proud to have won the Youth Friendly Business Award from Kimberley Chamber of Commerce for three years.
